So today I'm going to show you a simple exercise you can use for getting your fingers more independent & moving on their own so that you can master more scales, chords, arpeggios & everything else with your guitar playing. And as usual, it doesn't matter if you're playing acoustic guitar or electric guitar for this exercise to work for you :)

Normally this acoustic guitar song is in the key of E by placing a capo on the 2nd fret & basing it around a D shape chord. But what I'm going to show you is how to play this song in E with no capo needed at all. Honestly I think this version is actually a bit easier to play than the original version, too. So in this video I'll be going over all 4 chords you need to know, the rhythm for all the strumming, & break down the verse & chorus sections of the song.

So in this video we're going to take the album version of the solo, break it down into 10 small licks, and then put it all together so that you can play an awesome guitar solo for all your friends. And you can use the solo from this guitar tutorial on acoustic guitar or electric guitar, though the bends will be much easier on electric.
