Today's guitar lesson for beginners is about how to play When I Come Around by Green Day on guitar. Hey guys, Brad Litton from SimpleGuitar.com here with another beginner guitar lesson for you about one of my favorite Green Day songs of all time. When I Come Around is one of Green Day's biggest hits off their breakout record Dookie & it's the song that got me into Green Day and pop punk at large. The good news is, this song is actually quite simple. There's only 2 sections to it: the verse & the chorus.
