I just hit 6 years on YouTube. After teaching thousands of adult players, these are the traps that show up again and again. The frustrating part is most of the time the person thinks the problem is them — that they're not talented enough, or they started too late. It's almost never that.

Perfect Pitch vs Relative Pitch: Which is better? is the topic of today's beginner guitar lesson. Hey guys, Brad Litton from SimpleGuitar.com here with another guitar lesson for beginners. Training your ears is a highly underrated skill that most people don't focus on enough, but one common misconception I see over and over is that relative pitch is a lesser version of perfect pitch.
