I didn't write a song at all for the first 5 years that I was playing guitar because I didn't believe I would be able to do it well enough. It wasn't until I just stopped psyching myself out and sat down to just do it that I started writing music. So today, I'm going to show you a process that I use for songwriting to take you behind the scenes to see the raw process of how simple songwriting can be for you. Writing your own songs boils down to one key thing: Choices. It's all a series of choices that you make about what you're doing. There's no wrong answers here, it's just different choices that you make.
