how to play Mar 04, 2021

Today's guitar lesson is about how to play Walkaways by Counting Crows! I know these guys are most famous for their song Mr. Jones, but this is one of my very favorite acoustic guitar songs & it's also really short & pretty easy to get down. So I'm going to walk you through what guitar chords you need, the strumming pattern, & the cool intro lick. Pick up the FREE tab for this song by going to http://www.SimpleGuitar.com/walkaways so you can follow along!

This song has a very unusual structure. It's only an intro and a verse. That's it. So the entire song clocks in around 1 minute 20 seconds, but that doesn't make it any less of an awesome song for you to learn on guitar. This guitar tutorial for beginners will teach you this awesome easy song to play on guitar whether you're a beginner or more advanced guitar player.
