Most guitar players will play a note & release that note before they play the next note. This leaves anything you play on guitar (whether on electric guitar or acoustic guitar) sounding short & disjointed. What you want to do to make it sound smoother is DON'T release the note you're on until the exact same moment your finger is on the next note. This will keep any dead space from between your notes & make your guitar scales sound a whole lot better. Then you won't sound like a beginner guitar player, you'll sound more like a confident, experienced player who really knows how to play guitar. This is one technique that will really help you sound awesome as you learn guitar. When you know how to make guitar scales sound good like in today's beginner guitar lesson, it'll really help you look cool to everyone you play for. To make it even simpler for you, I also show you in the video a simple guitar scales practice exercise that anyone can do even if you don't know any scales yet.
