Guitar Phrasing For Beginners

Guitar phrasing for beginners is a topic I never new about as a beginner, but as I've helped hundreds of students as a guitar teacher it really is the secret to how to make your playing interesting & you can start working on your phrasing from day one.

Phrasing on guitar is what separates the okay players from the really great players & it's never too early to start developing better guitar phrasing when you play lead guitar. This won't matter if you're playing an electric guitar or an acoustic guitar, too. Even acoustic guitar players need good phrasing! But paying attention to HOW you play notes with phrasing is a big first step to learning how to solo on guitar.
