Acoustic Guitar Vs Electric Guitar For Beginners. What guitar is the best to start on? In today's free guitar lesson with Brad Litton from SimpleGuitar.com we're going to look at what is the best guitar to start with when you first start learning how to play guitar.
Choosing the best guitar to start learning can make or break how well you stick with it. When considering acoustic guitar or electric guitar, steel strings vs nylon, you need to first think about what kind of music you ultimately want to play.
As a guitar teacher, I'm often asked, "What guitar should I buy for beginners?" Honestly, if you want to play any rock or blues or music that primarily uses electric guitar...I think you should just start out on electric guitar and get some beginner guitar lessons for electric.
If the music you're most interested is primarily acoustic guitar focused, then start out on acoustic and get some beginner guitar lessons for acoustic. Either way, if you want to play both, then starting guitar lessons for beginners on electric is going to be easier for you in the beginning. I hope today's guitar tutorial helps you understand the best way to start learning guitar.
